Imbula unlikely to join AC Milan in January
The Frenchman has 16 seasonal appearances, but he has failed to feature in the squad in four out of the last five Liga NOS games and he’s reportedly not happy at the club.
Imbula was also linked with Milan’s city rivals Inter during the last summer transfer window, when he moved from Marseille to Porto on a € 20 million deal.
As the Turinese paper points out, the player’s € 50 million release clause doesn’t make him an easy target for January and Porto are not eager to accept a six-months loan move, as the Portuguese side have put a € 25 million price-tag on the player.
According to Tuttosport, Milan can only afford buying the 23-year-old midfielder selling some of their best players in January or working in partnership with Nelio Luca’s Doyen Sport.
The investment fund was very close with the Rossoneri during the last transfer campaign and they also helped Porto buying Imbula from Marseille last summer.
