The case of Mauro Icardi continues to be the biggest topic of conversation in calcio today. After comments made in his autobiography about the club’s hard-core supporters on the Curva Sud, the whistles at the San Siro on Sunday afternoon and the banner left outside his house, today club officials will make a decision on the 23-year-old Argentine.
 

A short while ago a meeting commenced at Appiano Gentile between the player and the society, to try to get to the bottom of the controversy that is ripping the club apart. After some harsh words from vice-president Javier Zanetti yesterday, it seems certain that the man from Rosario will lose the captains armband.
