Giuseppe Marotta earned a €100.000 last year for winning the title with Juventus, Il Sole 24 Ore revealed on Sunday following the publication of Juventus’ annual report.

With players’ salaries often earning the lion’s share of media attention, it was refreshing to see the financial paper study the rest of the Old Lady’s payroll, which revealed that CEO and General Manager for the Sport Area Marotta made €2.332 million gross, actually €2.000 less than he earned last year.

Chairman Andrea Agnelli also saw his remuneration decrease by €2.300, down to €475.200, something that appears odd after a 2014-2015 season which has to be seen as an unqualifiable success, with Juventus coming within one game of completing a historic treble.

CEO Aldo Mazzia, who also doubles as the Chief Financial Officer, earned a €150.000 bonus for his good work on the Continassa development project, bringing his total earnings for the year to €596.700.
Director and former Bianconeri legend Pavel Nedved earned €325.000, Director Maurizio Arrivabene €45.000 and Independent Director Paolo Garimberti €60.000.
