Hiddink to take over at Chelsea, spotted at Heathrow this morning
The Dutchman returns to Stamford Bridge, having already played the caretaker role between February and June 2009, when he helped Chelsea win the FA Cup final against Everton, also taking the Blues to within inches (and a raft of controversial refereeing decisions) of a Champions League rematch with Manchester United, only for Andres Iniesta to fire a last-gasp winner for Barcelona instead.
Hiddink beat out Juande Ramos, who won his only English silverware as Tottenham manager against Chelsea, who were led by Avram Grant at the time.
The scoop has been confirmed by Mateja Kezman, who used to play under Hiddink at PSV. The former Serbian striker - who now works as Sergej Milinkovic-Savis' agent - confessed that he'd heard the news from the horse's mouth.
