Here's one area in which Inter star Candreva could improve
With Inter reeling after the Balkan team’s comeback, it was the Inter winger who provided Ciro Immobile with two key assists, allowing the Azzurri to crawl home with three points… and a black eye.
Leading Serie A with three assists so far, Candreva has been one of Inter’s main men this season, allowing Mauro Icardi to net the equaliser against Palermo and Ivan Perisic to do the same against Bologna.
That said, there is a department in which the former Lazio talisman could improve: goalscoring. His miss against Roma (volleying a cross just wide) was just one of many occasions in which the 29-year-old has come up short in front of goal, something which Coach Frank De Boer wants him to improve.
Excluding the goal he scored against Celtic in preseason, the international hasn’t netted since May 8th, against Carpi.
For someone who has more than 50 career Serie A goals under his belt, this is a gremlin that needs fixing.
