GM of Sassuolo denies that Berardi rejected Juventus move
The U-21 Italy International was reported to have rejected a move to Juventus last summer, but Sassuolo GM Domenico Carnevali has denied that the Italian winger has ever said no to Juventus
“He’s one of the best players in Italy and it is not true that he refused to move to Juventus”, Carnevali told SportItalia.
“We have no financial problems, so we don’t need to sell anybody. We’ve already sold Sansone an Vrsaljko and Berardi is part of our future.”
“He’s not going to leave in January and he could stay with us for long time. We are on very good terms with Inter, despite what people said last summer.”
