Juventus are trying to acquire Giuseppe Rossi of Villarreal. The former player of Manchester United is having his best season in the Spanish Liga, scoring 15 goals so far.

The agent, Federico Pastorello, admitted: "Juve asked for information, as any great club usually does in this period. There was an offer, more precisely a request of a loan with an option for acquisition, but Villareal rejected it. Many things have changed since then".

Pastorello added: "In an ambitious project like the one that Juventus have, it is normal to see Rossi's name as a possible candidate. But he's happy at Villareal".
