    Genoa: Quaglia, Borriello or Milito?

Genoa’s biggest problem so far this season has been their attacking package. Even though Rodrigo Palacio has been in great shape, Andrea Caracciolo and Lucas Pratto have both failed to live up to expectations.
The Rossoblu are determined to solve this issue in the January transfer window following their unsuccessful bid for Alberto Gilardino in the summer. President Enrico Preziosi is now undecided between two strikers who are struggling to find space in their respective clubs: Fabio Quagliarella and Marco Borriello.
Quagliarella recently recovered from a long-term injury but Antonio Conte is still not 100% about him and keeps on leaving the former Napoli and Sampdoria forward on the bench. However, the Bianconeri demand is set to 12M Euros, which the Rossoblu are unwilling to match.

Borriello should have left the Olimpico in the summer but his hefty wage made it impossible for other Italian clubs to complete the deal. Now the Giallorossi could give him away on loan, but it will be up to the player to decide whether he agrees to return to Marassi.

Ultimately, the dream of Preziosi would be Diego Milito. Il Principe would love to be a Rossoblu again and Genoa would have good chances to sign him if they agreed to let Juraj Kucka join Inter in January.
