Genoa hot-shot Leonardo Pavoletti admits he is pleased to hear AC Milan interest

Genoa striker Leonardo Pavoletti has revealed he’s happy to hear Serie A giants AC Milan are interested in signing him.

Talking to Sky Sport Italia and Premium Sport after the Grifone’s 4-1 defeat to Carpi, the 27-year-old striker admitted a move to the San Siro side would be one of his interest.

“I hear and read about AC Milan interest and I am pleased about that. Let’s see what’s going to happen, however, I am happy here at Genoa.”

Scorer of 11 league goals this season, Pavoletti still hopes Antonio Conte could give him a call-up to Italy EURO 2016 squad.

“I can have a chance only if I carry on scoring goals, if I’d earn a call up, I’d probably be the happiest guy in the world.”

Questioned about his side’s defeat, Pavoletti stated: ‘We didn’t start well, our opener had changed something but in the end it was a total failure.”
