Garcia: De Rossi will play, Roma focussed on Bayer
Rudi Garcia assured journalists present at Roma's pre-game conference that the Giallorossi captain - who missed his team's 1-0 defeat to Inter at the weekend - would make Wednesday night's game, though Seydou Keita's layoff has yet to end.
"De Rossi will play. Keita isn't ready," the former Lille coach said.
The third-year Giallorossi manager wants to avoid a repeat of Roma's Matchday 2 defeat at the hands of BATE Borisov, especially with next weekend's derby with Lazio on the cards.
"There are no other games but tomorrow's. Only a win would be acceptable. We need three points to get closer to qualification. No-one's safe yet".
Roma currently sit bottom of Group E, with only two points. Leverkusen are second with four.
