Galliani reveals Ancelotti wanted to sign Bacca at Real Madrid

The Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo reports a couple of very interesting statements by Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani concerning the Rossoneri top scorer Carlos Bacca, who joined the Italian club from Sevilla FC last summer.

“I’ve been following Bacca’s performances over the last two years and I’ve always loved his style of play”, Galliani told the Spanish press.

“He is an amazing player and a great finisher.”

The 71-year-old has also revealed that Carlo Ancelotti was keeping tabs on the Colombian striker during his time as Real Madrid boss.

“Ancelotti and I used to talk a lot about Bacca. Carlo really likes him and I am sure if he would have stayed at Madrid, Bacca would have joined the Merengues.”

“I also like the former manager of Carlos Bacca, Unay Emery. He is a top class manager, but it doesn’t mean that he’ll join Milan.”
