    During the next transfer window, AC Milan will need to reinforce their team’s defense. Alessio Romagnoli needs to play next an experienced player, but Gabriel Paletta –despite doing very well- is not skilled enough, while Christian Zapata is still recovering from a serious injury.

    Acording to El Mundo Deportivo, the right name for the rossoneri could be the one of Atletico Madrid 30-year-old Diego Godin, for whom the Lombard club is ready to offer €30 million.

    The Uruguayan international represents Montella’s first choice for his defense; for this reason, Milan are ready to invest such a high amount of money. On the other hand, the Colchoneros could accept to let go a player who has only two and a half more years on his contract.
