From Spain: Barcelona in Italy for Bacca & Mario Gomez
Barcelona are heading to Italy to find attacking reinforcements. According to reports in the Spanish press today, the club’s Director of Football Raul Sanllehi, will be in the peninsula in the next few days to discuss two players in particular; Milan’s Carlos Bacca and Fiorentina’s Mario Gomez.
The two players are set to leave their respective clubs this summer and the presence of Sanllehi is significant as he only ever negotiates business when he is close to an agreement with the parties involved. Earlier today on calciomercato.com, we explained that Barca coach Luis Enrique had drawn up a list of 36 potential strikers he would like to bring to the Camp Nou this summer.
