From England: Milan & Inter join the race for Sakho
The Daily Mirror reports that both Milan and Inter have joined the race to sign Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho. The 26-year-old has been frozen out at Anfield by coach Jurgen Klopp after a series of disciplinary problems, culminating in the player being sent home from the clubs summer tour to the US.
The journal claims that the two Serie A giants are in a three-way tussle with Premier League side West Bromwich Albion, but that they are only interested in taking the Frenchman on-loan. Sakho has been training with the reserve squad to maintain his fitness until the new year window opens.
The man who was born in Paris, arrived in England in 2013 from his hometown club Paris Saint-Germain but has only made 55 appearances for the Reds during this time. He’s been a member of the French national team since 2010 which has seen him make 28 appearances for his country.
