According to reports in the Daily Mirror, Everton have been alerted to the fact that Inter will put midfielder Ever Banega on the transfer market next month. The journal claims that the Toffees have already commenced talks with the 28-year-old’s agent but that they will face strong competition from France and Spain to try to secure the players signature.
 

The Argentine international moved to Serie A on a free-transfer over the summer, but looks to have fallen out of favour with new coach Stefano Pioli. His market-value is believed to be worth £8 million and he has a contract in Milan until 2019. Everton boss Ronald Koeman is desperate to bring in new faces in January after a faltering start to the new campaign. Saturday’s defeat at Watford means the Merseyside club have now only won once in their last 10 Premier League outings and have already exited the EFL Cup.
