From Brazil: Barcelona ask Santos for €6 million compensation over Gabigol
The case of Gabigol is still not closed as Globesport claims that Barcelona have advised FIFA that they will seek €6 million in compensation from Santos, over a breach of the agreement the two clubs had to bring the 19-year-old striker to the Camp Nou. The Catalan giants believed by putting a down payment on the Brazilian, they had the right to first refusal on his transfer. This has subsequently been denied by Santos, who claimed the deadline for the blaugrana to purchase the player had expired.
