Francesco Totti drops hint that he may not retire at the end of the season
The 40-year-old striker, however, may wait a bit longer before hanging his boots: “Nothing can be taken for granted in football. Everybody thought I was done with football last year, but I’m feeling ok, I am fit and I trust my body.”
“Everybody is entitled to have his say, but if I am feeling good, why should I retire? I can still be helpful for the team.”
In the end, Totti was also asked what AS Roma are lacking of to be at the same level of Juventus: “We should just have more self belief.”
Totti has spent his whole career playing for AS Roma. He’s a product of the club’s academy and has 250 goals in 750 games with the club.”
