    Former Inter target Duda close to Fiorentina move

    Fiorentina seem close to signing Slovakian midfielder Duda from Legia Warsaw. According to Weszlo.com the Serie A side have made an offer in the region of € 4-5 million and the deal seems close to be finalized.

    Paulo Sousa thinks extremely high of the 21-year-old, especially after watching his performances at EURO 2016. Duda scored one of Slovakia’s three goals during at the European Championship and also Legia Warsaw’s president Boguslaw Lesnodorski has admitted that the player is close to signing with Fiorentina.

    “We are waiting for an official offer from La Viola. If they’d send us the right proposal, confirming the fee we’ve already agreed, his transfer to Fiorentina is a realistic option.”

    Duda has 14 appearances with senior Slovakia national team. He netted five goals and registered nine assists in 43 games in all competitions with Legia Warsaw last term and Inter were rumoured to be extremely interested in welcoming the player’s services last January, though the nerazzurri failed to make any official offer to seal the player’s transfer.
