    FOCUS: Ranocchia's future still uncertain

    The 28-year-old center back Andrea Ranocchia currently plays for Sampdoria on loan from Inter Milan. At the end of the season, he will rejoin the nerazzurri, but he won’t remain for a long time at San Siro: after the arrival of Roberto Mancini on the Lombard team’s bench, the player –who was also the team’s captain- spent most of his time on the bench.
    Sampdoria would like to sign the former Bari man to permanent deal, but it seems extremely difficult for the blucerchiati to accomplish both the player and Inter requests.
    For this reason, the Lombard club will try to sell the player during the next transfer window of involving him in some swaps: for example, the Italy international could be offer to Lazio to obtain Antonio Candreva, or could be simply sold to city rivals AC Milan.
