FOCUS Milan: Stambouli farther, eyes on Kovacic
The giallorossi’s boss Luciano Spalletti wants to keep Paredes, who is evaluated by his club at least €25 million; on the other hand, Schalke 04 are trying to sprint for Stambouli, even if their main target remains Tottenham 21-year-old Nabil Benthaleb.
On other hand, Milan could decide to swoop for another type of midfielder, like Real Madrid 22-year-old Mateo Kovacic. The Croat is not getting many chances to play with the blancos, but Zinedine Zidane admires him, so that the Spanish club would rather sell Isco or James Rodriguez. For this reason, the rossoneri could carry out an eventual negotiation only in the last days of the transfer window.
