FOCUS: Juve sprint for Gabriel Jesus

Juventus are tracking many young talents, not only in Italy but Worldwide, especially in South America; after putting their hands on Rogerio –who is actually working with Sassuolo’s youth team- and Matheus Pereira –who will soon be in Italy to solve some immigration matters- the bianconeri are now ready to swoop on Palmeiras winger Gabriel Jesus.

The Serie A defending champions have been admiring the 19-year-old since last year’s FIFA Under 20 World Cup in New Zealand, and the Piedmont’s club scouts have then started to observe him regularly. Juve will try to overtake the other clubs interested (like Inter Milan), but it won’t be easy to carry out a negotiation, as the player’s ownership is shared between Palmeiras and an investment fund.

However, according to the Brazilian press, the youngster costs about €25 million: the bianconeri will try to reduce such amount, but they are in any case ready to make an important effort.
