FOCUS: Inter will need €2 million to sign Banega

As outlined today by the Spanish medias, the contract of Sevilla FC midfielder Ever Banega –currently expiring at the end of the season- will be extended until June 2017, as the 27-year-old has already played 30 games during the current season, and his deal with the Spanish club foresees such option.

However, El Tanguito has an agreement with Inter Milan, and has probably already signed a pre-contract with the nerazzurri. What will happen then? To leave the Rojiblancos, the Argentina international will have to pay a €2 million severance pay, which corresponds to the bonus that he will receive from Inter when he will sign for them. According to Italian sources, the amount needed is even lower: in any case, the former Valencia man will join the Lombard club: not as a free agent, but for an extremely low amount.
