    FOCUS: Inter keen on Erkin, but Telles should stay

    As reported earlier today, Inter Milan are seeking a midfielder, and, in addition to Biglia, they are thinking about the 27-year-old Ever Banega, whose contract with Sevilla FC is about to expire. The nerazzurri are also working to reinforce their team’s flank, and, even for what concerns such position, are thinking about a player who is about to become a free agent – Fenerbahçe 27-year-old Caner Erkin. And as well as for the former Valencia man, the Lombard club has already start to negotiate for the Turkey international.
     
    Yesterday, during the interview accorded to calciomercato.com, Inter’s boss Roberto Mancini has admitted to admire Erkin; the player’s agent Batur Altiparmak has denied that his client has already signed a pre-contract with the nerazzurri, but the two parties are about to find an agreement.
     
    With the arrival of the Turkish player, D’Ambrosio and Santon will probably leave, while Alex Telles’ future remains uncertain. The Brazilian is currently on loan with right to buy from Galatasaray.
     
    As outlined by calciomercato.com’s editor Emanuele Tramacere, Inter should sign the former Gremio man to permanent deal, as the Aslan have some financial problems and could accept less than €5 million; moreover, Telles has already got used to the ambiance and is very important also regarding the offensive phase.
