FOCUS Inter hope Andreolli can do a job, chase Lindelof to replace ailing Ranocchia
According to our sources, the Nerazzurri’s transfer activities will depend a lot from… the recovery of Marco Andreolli! Currently getting back into shape after a major injury, the 30-year-old eternal hopeful is seen as the first reserve for the untouchable duo of Jeison Murillo and Joao Miranda.
This would drop Andrea Ranocchia down to fourth, something which could well push him to leave in January, with Torino and Sampdoria strong possibilities.
Who would Inter sign to replace him? So far, Niklas Sule and Fabian Schar are strong options, but not as much as Viktor Lindelof of Benfica, the only problem being his €30m pricetag.
Sule, for his part, is still the subject of doubts over his ability to handle the bigtime, while Schar was close to joining Inter when he left Basel… only to opt to partner Sule at Hoffenheim!
