FOCUS: Inter after three PSG players

Inter Milan are working to reinforce their team during the current transfer window as they want to play all their chances in the race for the scudetto. In Qatar, the nerazzurri’s executives have had the chance to talk about their PSG’s counterparts, and make an evaluation about the Dutch full back Gregory van der Wiel, the 20-year-old midfielder Adrien Rabiot and the Argentine forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The contract of the former Ajax man will expire at the end of the season, but he ask for a very high salary; moreover, there is the fear that the Holland international will need a lot of time to get used to the Italian football, as well as it happened with Martin Montoya. In any case, the 27-year-old could be signed only if at least two wingbacks would leave.
For what concerns Rabiot, also Arsenal are interested, but PSG will let him go only on loan; a transfer to San Siro on temporary basis could then be a concrete option, while the Gunners could swoop on the Lombard team 23-year-old Marcelo Brozovic.
Also Lavezzi is about to become a free agent, but to let him go now, the French club require at least €6 million. It seems then difficult that El Pocho will move back to Italy, even though his agent Alejandro Mazzoni told Le10Sports: “Inter and Juventus? We don’t anything yet, but everything can happen, and really fast”
