Fiorentina set sights on Juventus mainstay Barzagli
According to Firenzeviola.it, Paulo Sousa has set his sights on Juventus’ Andrea Barzagli, whose contract with the Old Lady is due to expire next June.
The Italy International has featured among the best Italian defenders in the last few Serie A seasons, but the Bianconeri have still not proposed him a contract extension.
Nevertheless, a January exit is out of question.
The 34 year came close to signing with Fiorentina back in 2008, before moving to the Bundesliga giants Wolfsburg.
Barzagli, a native of Fiesole, a small city on the northern outskirts of Florence, has played 162 games with Juventus since he joined the Bianconeri on a € 300.000 deal in 2011.
