Milan Badelj's exclusion from Sunday's 5-3 win over Cagliari could push him towards suitors AC Milan, if a Florentine paper can be trusted. 

La Nazione claim that the Croatian is also a transfer target for Chelsea, whose manager, Antonio Conte, is a great admirer of his. Milan themselves came very close to signing the 27-year-old this summer. 

Badelj's agent has long been pushing for a move away from the Artemio Franchi, and his client's exclusion has renewed Milan and Chelsea's interest in him.
