Fiorentina are looking to strengthen their team ahead of the new season and Aston Villa’s midfielder Carlos Sanchez has emerged as a potential reinforcement for Paulo Sousa’s midfield.

Fiorentina are negotiating the player’s transfer on a season loan deal with option to buy. The 30-year-old Colombia International could leave Di Matteo’s squad after last year’s relegation.
