Fiorentina after Chamakh
According to Sky Sport, Fiorentina are interested in Arsenal forward Marouane Chamakh.
The Moroccan player is currently struggling to make an impact at Arsenal following his move from Bordeaux in 2010.
The Viola need to replace Alberto Gilardino, who was sold to Genoa, and Director Pantaleo Corvino feels Chamakh could represent the ideal addition to their attacking package.
However, Fiorentina will have to persuade Arsene Wenger to let the 27-year-old striker go while also need to consider the player’s hefty wage. Furthermore, Chamakh will take part to the Africa Cup of Nations and thus won’t be available in January.
