EXCLUSIVE Romano: Milan plot summer bid for Ajax’s starlet
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has all the qualities that Milan are looking for: he’s a pacey offensive player, with vision and he’s also good in technical things.
Fabrizio Romano reveals that the Diavoli are still keeping tabs on him as they sent a scout to watch Ajax’s game against Feyenoord last week.
Galliani is a long-time admirer of El Ghazi and has already found economic agreement with the player’s entourage. It won’t be easy to convince the Lancers anyway, but El Ghazi is Milan’s priority for the summer transfer market.
According to our transfer pundit, Galliani made one last move to sign the player just before the Milan’s Derby kick-off. The Diavoli’s CEO called Ajax’s Director of Sport Mark Overmars, asking if they had lowered El Ghazi’s price-tag.
Overmars said no, but Milan ware set to make a new attempt next summer.
