EXCLUSIVE ROMANO: Juventus and Raiola schedule meeting to extend prolific youngster’s contract
Born in 2000, Kean netted the equalizer in Juventus Primavera’s Youth League opener against Sevilla last week and the bianconeri want to extend his contract to ward off interest of big Premier League clubs scouting him every week-end, including Arsenal.
A meeting with Kean’s agent (a certain Mino Raiola) has been scheduled already. The Old Lady wants to extend the player’s stay at the club, but only on their conditions.
First of all, they want to pay no commission to extend the contract of a promising player, but who’s also still 16 and still everything to prove at a senior level.
Raiola wants to make sure that Juventus will give him a chance in the senior team soon or, at least, wants Juventus to sell the player on loan, to give Kean a chance to shine in any other senior team around Europe.
Negotiations betweek the two parties are ongoing and a new meeting has been scheduled in the next few weeks. Will Juventus and Raiola found agreement for Kean’s contract extension?
