EXCLUSIVE: Juventus to make mega Gungogan offer if Zaza moves to EPL
Juventus are set to make another attempt to sign Ilkay Gundogan, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reports.
Though Juventus have already made an offer above €20 million, they could make another offer if they were able to cash in on a departure. Simone Zaza tops the list at the moment: despite scoring in the little time he's been given, he has handed in a transfer request. Though he'd rather be loaned, he doesn't exclude a sale either.
Who would be interested? Well, Crystal Palace, West Ham and Watford, though some Serie A teams are after him too. Juventus could bring in as much as €17/18 million, which would help them make an offer of over €30 (€25 including bonuses) to Borussia. Our information tells us that they'd make a day of it, and send a whole team of executives and intermediaries to the Signal Iduna to try and seal the deal.
Gundogan is the perfect midfielder for Massimiliano Allegri's team (who is a big admirer), wants Champions League football, and would like to play for Juventus. [and it's not as if other Bundesliga midfielders haven't moved to Italy to great success, either, ed]
