EXCLUSIVE Romano: Juve overtake Inter in Lavezzi chase
The Argentina international is in awful terms with his current team’s head coach Laurent Blanc, and there are almost no chances that he will extend his contract with the French club, expiring in June 2016. This means that the former Napoli player will be able to sign for any other club starting February 1st, unless someone will try to sign him during the next transfer window.
This is why the bianconeri’s executives will meet Lavezzi’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni in two weeks; as previously reported, the player is asking for a three-year deal at €4 million per season, while the Piedmont’s club offers a two-year contract.
Moreover, as outlined by calciomercato.com’s expert Fabrizio Romano, Mazzoni has also talked with Inter Milan’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio, while the negotiation with AC Milan never worked out.
