Like always, Lazio President Claudio Lotito will prove a tough obstacle to get across if the nerazzurri are to land Italian international Antonio Candreva. The capital club has already refused an offer of €18 million plus bonus for the player but the pressing does not finish here. Candreva wants the move to the San Siro and his agent has already agreed personal terms with Sporting Director Ausilio. In the next few days an increased offer of €18 million plus €2/3 million bonus will be formally submitted to Lazio in the hope that this time closure can be reached.
THE INTRIGUE OF GABRIEL JESUS
Meanwhile, the club continues to make progress in their attempts to bring Gabriel Jesus to Italy. The 19-year-old Brazilian striker is highly-rated and his current club Palmeiras have also had approaches from Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus but have so far resisted any temptation to part with their star player. The Suning Group want to invest in young talent and Gabriel Jesus, although difficult to land, would fit the bill perfectly.
