EXCLUSIVE ROMANO: Details on AC Milan’s offer for Bentancur
Rodrigo Bentancur has emerged as AC Milan’s priority midfield target with the rossoneri that have made contact with Boca Juniors over the talented 19-year-old midfielder.
Adriano Galliani wants to close the deal as soon as possible to avoid possible problems due to competition of other clubs interested in the player, like it happened with Marko Pjaca who was a target of AC Milan, but snubbed a move to the San Siro to join Juventus instead.
AC Milan have offered € 15 million to secure the services of Bentancur, which is the budget that Berlusconi has allowed Adriano Galliani to use before money of the Chinese consortium becomes available.
The diavoli are also in talks with the player’s entourage and have offered the Boca starlet a five-year deal which is still not defined in terms of figures, though the two parties are working to find a positive agreement for both the club and the footballer.
What about Juventus? The Old Lady can buy Bentancur paying € 1 million by the end of the year and € 9.4 million by April 2017. The bianconeri seem not interested in signing the player now and are apparently out of the race to sign him, but AC Milan don’t trust the Old Lady and want to close the Bentancur deal, before their historic Serie A rivals change their mind and enter the race for their midfield priority target.
