EXCLUSIVE Romano: Ancelotti, Bayern chase Juventus target Diawara
Milan tried to grab him a while ago, offering Jose Mauri as part of the deal. The two sides couldn't reach an agreement, and Diawara was frankly more taken with offers from overseas.
Now, the young Bologna talent has brought in a new agent, Daniele Piraino, and things are set to change.
Juventus have asked after him, and are very interested, but will have to dish out something in the region of €10/12 million. To add to the Bianconeri's headache, the competition is getting stiffer and stiffer.
Tuesday, Bayern will meet Bologna to talk first and foremost about Diawara... and will be doing so on future manager Carlo Ancelotti's advice. They will try to gauge how much Corvino wants for him, and if he can be a "Bayern guy" in terms of price too.
Bayern aren't the only team capable of spoiling Juve's party: a number of Premier League teams are after the young prodigy too, as is the rest of Italy's elite.
It's going to be a tough race, no matter what.
