AC Milan want to sign Palermo attacking midfielder Franco Vazquez.

The Argentine-born Italian player has been on the Rossoneri’s radar for a long time, and now the Lombard club is ready to swoop again on El Mudo to bring him to the San Siro next year.

As explained by calciomercato.com’s transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, Milan will begin negotiations for the 26-year-old in January, in order to sign him at the end of the season. The Diavolo would hence be emulating rivals Juventus, who did as much for another Palermo player –Paulo Dybala.

The defending Serie A champions came to an agreement with Dybala in January, and negotiated with the Sicilian club during the summer transfer window.

El Mudo would accept a four-year deal, while the Rosanero look set to ask for a figure between 15 and 20 million euros.
