Exclusive: PSG decline Jesé loan to Roma, want a transfer
PSG have turned down Roma’s loan offer for Jese’ Rodriguez.
The former Real Madrid player was signed for €25 million this summer by the Ligue 1 champions, only to mostly rot on the bench and start only on league game.
According to sources close to CM, it transpires that PSG have rejected loan offers from both Roma and Espanyol, the Giallorossi offering a loan with a buyout option at the end.
The Parisian side will only entertain a transfer. Then again, Jese’s problem in Paris doesn’t seem to be the club, but Unai Emery. Were the Spanish gaffer to be sacked, the 23-year-old Real Madrid product could be tempted to stay.
The winger finds himself in a similar situation to that encountered in Madrid and, if anything, it’s worse at the Parc des Princes. At least at the Bernabeu he got to start seven games in the last Liga campaign, scoring 5 times in nearly 900 minutes.
