EXCLUSIVE Milan to offer Bacca, Bonaventura new deals to ward off Bayern, Chelsea interest
The Colombian international has shined in his maiden Serie A season, scoring 14 times and confirming that he's still one of the continent's finest goalmouth predators.
The Rossoneri would, it has to be said, listen to offers above the €30/35 million threshold, but even then it would be up fto the former Sevilla star to determine his future.
They've told Bacca, however, that they'd like to extend his stay at the San Siro by a year (to 2020), maintain his base salary of €3.5 million a year but add further bonuses.
The former Club Bruges star has also been told that the club intends to build around him for next season, and make sure that he is always supported. M'Baye Niang's injury in a car crash last month affected the Colombian, cutting him off from his usual supply of chances.
Jack Bonaventura has also been inching closer to penning a new deal with Milan, especially after he fired his old agent to replace him with Mino Raiola. The former Atalanta sensation has been one of the Diavolo's most consistent player over the past two seasons, but is bizarrely one of the club's lowest earners, at €1 million a year.
Now, the talk is that the Rossoneri want to offer Jack somewhere between €2.5 and 3 million a season. Will that be enough to keep Chelsea at bay?
