Exclusive: Luis Muriel's new Sampdoria contract set to include € 25m release clause
According to our transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano, the blucerchiati are going to offer the Colombian striker a new long-term deal.
Muriel’s current deal expires in June 2019 and Sampdoria are willing to extend the player’s stay at the club for two more years at least. The 25-year-old striker has five goals in 12 appearances with the club so far this season and Sampdoria could propose him to include a release clause in his new contract with the club.
Sampdoria would be open to include a minimum fee release clause in the region of € 22-25 million.
Muriel is being tracked by many Serie A clubs. Torino made several bids to sign him last summer, but Sampdoria refused to enter transfer talks for their star striker who also rejected a move to Zenit St. Petersburg during the previous transfer window.
