EXCLUSIVE Juventus still keen on Lazio striker Keita!
There is some good news and some bad news for Lazio fans: on the one hand, Coach Simone Inzaghi seems to have made peace with striker Keita Balde Diao, last heard of being publicly called out by his own club.
The former striker can’t want to see what Keita can do for him come gametime, having provided an assist in last weekend’s draw with Chievo.
The bad news, however… is that he hasn’t agreed to a new deal with Lazio, and his current contract expires in 2018.
Guess who is interested? Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici are one example, though they refused to sit down with Lazio in summer once president Claudio Lotito asked for €30 million.
Though Lotito also shot down AS Monaco, the reality is that this high price-tag won’t last into next year. Juventus were already keen when they were still chasing Gabigol.
Having offered €15/16m last summer, it looks like their next offer may not be much higher.
