EXCLUSIVE: Juventus in transfer talks to sign Bayern Munich stars Benatia & Gotze!

Despite their recent Champions League meeting which saw Bayern Munich eliminating Juventus from the best European competition for football clubs, the Bundesliga and Serie A giants are definitely on good terms , or at least, that’s what one would assume after Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman moves from the J Stadium to the Allianz Arena last summer.

Bayern Munich’s permanent signing of the French starlet for a fee of € 28 million, would allow the Bianconeri to rack up € 70 million from the sales of both Vidal and Coman.

As CM.com’s Nicola Balice reports, Juventus and Bayern could invert their roles next summer as the Old Lady is seeking to sign two Bayern Munich stars who have struggled with playing time this season.
Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici have made a € 2 million offer to sign Mehdi Benatia on loan until the end of next season, adding a € 22 million option to make the Moroccan centre-back’s move permanent at the end of the 2016-17 campaign. Basically the same formula the Bavarians used to sign Kingsley Coman last summer.

Juventus have also found economic agreement with the player, who is looking forward to coming back to Italy after having played for Udinese and AS Roma. Marotta and Paratici are still planning next summer’s transfer strategy which they will also share with Massimiliano Allegri once the season will be over. That’s when they are expected to complete the signing of Benatia.

The Serie A title holders are also keeping tabs on Mario Gotze after the transfer approach they made last summer. The 2014 World Cup final hero has only played 12 games this term (he missed more than four months with an adductor injury) and Bayern Munich have slapped a € 50 million price tag on the Germany International.

It is no secret Gotze had lost his ‘unsellable’ status under Pep Guariola this term, but with Carlo Ancelotti taking over at the Allianz Arena next season, Bayern Munich would need to wait for Carletto’s opinion before selling the player.

Gotze, however, refused a J Stadium move last summer also due to economic reasons as the Old Lady would have not matched his current € 7 million salary. Marotta will offer Gotze € 5 million a year plus bonuses and the opportunity to become once again the main stars of a top European club.
