Exclusive: Juventus are falling in love with Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappé | by Edoardo Siddi
Leonardo Jardim’s Monaco are never boring, are they? They’ve beaten Tottenham on the road (2-1), murdered PSG at home (3-1), laid the smackdown on Lille (4-1), Metz (7-0), Montepellier (6-2)... and now Nancy, too, who they annihilated 6-0 last night.
Juventus are particularly happy with these developments, even though target Gabriel Boschilia sat on the bench yesterday. Why? Because of someone else who rose from the dugout to score the second inside of four minutes.
Thing is, the 17-year-old was actually needed last night: despite the cushy scoreline, Monaco were only a goal ahead before he came on. Beyond his goal, he also assisted Carrillo for the sixth, but Fabio Paratici’s scouts are impressed by so much more than that: small and unpredictable, there isn’t anything M’Bappe can’t do.
More importantly, the Parisian native only recently signed his first contract with Monaco in March, but he justifiably already wants more. Could Juventus be the team to give him what he wants?
