EXCLUSIVE: Juve overtake Napoli in hunt for Saponara
The azzurri wanted to sign the player last summer, while the Serie A defending champions have always worked in prospective: almost one year ago, the Piedmont’s club obtained the option to outbid an eventual offer; the Tuscans had in any case no intention to let the former AC Milan man leave, and they considered insufficient the €12 million offered by Napoli. In the mid time, the performances of the 24-year-old have been constantly improving, and Juve have kept on working undercover. The bianconeri will offer to the azzurri between €15 and €20 million, plus the 26-year-old striker Gianluca Lapadula, currently playing for Pescara.
