EXCLUSIVE Juve's plan to lure Witsel to Turin!

EXCLUSIVE Juve's plan to lure Witsel to Turin!

Juventus are still hard at work to replace Paul Pogba. Fully conscious that nobody can truly substitute the Frenchman, and that Miralem Pjanic is the club's stated marquee replacement, the Bianconeri are still looking for a starter in midfied, with Claudio Marchisio and Sami Khedira still injured.

Who is the Turinese team's replacement, the one who both satisfies their notion of value and keeps Coach Max Allegri happy? Fabio Paratici believes that Axel Witsel is the man, though Allegri himself is far from won over.

Reports are coming in that Juventus are working hard to bring the Belgian international in, though Everton's offer of €30 million is clearly in the lead so far, seeing as Witsel only has one year left on his deal.

THough Juventus don't want to pay near that much, they plan to increase their initial €18m bid, though it likely won't overtake the €23m mark. Paratici & Co have the advantage that Witseld could leave for free next year, that the Liege-born talent is on bad terms with Coach Mircea Lucescu, and that the Russian Premier League side will surely want to make something from his sale, seeing as he cost a combined £64 when he joined alonside Brazilian forward Hulk.

In agreement with Witsel's entourage, Juventus have said that they'll make another bid in the coming days. Will they be able to break Zenit?
