EXCLUSIVE: Inter in talks to sign Chelsea target
As we previously reported, the Belgrade Red Star’s man has won the last U-20 World Cup with Serbia and has already scored four goals in 15 SuperLiga appearances. Despite the Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea were also reported to have pounced on the player, Inter are actually trying very hard to convince Grujic to join them.
The Nerazzurri’s assistant coach and legendary player Dejan Stankovic has recently met the player’s entourage to persuade them on how good and solid the Inter project is and what are the club’s expectations from the new signings.
Having left the Belgrade Red Star to join Lazio when he was the same age of Grujic, Stankovic knows exactly that a Serie A move can be a really huge step forward is the player’s career but at the same time he wants Grujic to be aware of how difficult can be playing in Italy at such a young age.
The 19 year old starlet has just extended his contract with the Belgrade Red Star until 2018.
