EXCLUSIVE: Inter benchwarmer Melo doesn't plan on leaving
Though there has been a lot of talk of offers coming from China, the former Brazilian international has received no offers, according to sources close to him.
Though there were some contacts during the summer, Melo refused around €8 million to move to China, choosing instead to work with Roberto Mancini, who coached him in Turkey and whom he greatly admires.
The feeling is mutual: the former Manchester City and Galatasaray Coach went to bat in order to reel in the 32-year-old in the closing stages of the summer transfer window.
Though he wishes he played more (he's only figured in 19 Serie A games so far), Melo is settled in Milan, is one of the leaders inside the dressing room, and is known for always motivating and egging on his team-mates.
Despite a lot of transfer rumours linking the Volta Redonda native to a summer departure, it seems like he is set to stay.
