EXCLUSIVE Fabrizio Romano on Milan: Who is coming and who is going?
We here at CM.COM can exclusively reveal that Adriano Galliani has been knocking at Ajax's door again. Sinisa Mihajlovic really wants at least a winger, and Milan's CEO is hoping that the Lancers will lower their demands to somewhere in the region of €6/7 million.
The good news for Rossoneri fans is that the club has already reached an agreement with El Ghazi. All they have to do now is to get the Eredivisie club to budge from their €10 million pricetag. Easier said than done. Were Milan to sell in the coming days, they'll make another bid.
With regards to Vangioni, on the other hand, River Plate are still fighting a rearguard action to stop their player leaving before June. Galliani is hoping to convince the Primera Division club to allow Milan to have him undergo a medical, before paying River a sum of around €1 million in order to bring the fullback to the San Siro immediately. This offer will be made on Monday.
The Rossoneri are also focussing on departures, with El Shaarawy very close to joining Roma. With the Jiangsu Suning saga over, the club is now hoping to sell Luiz Adriano to someone else, though the Wolfsburg option doesn't seem to be realistic.
Among the others, Antonio Nocerino has refused approaches from La Liga, Nigel De Jong has attracted interest from the MLS, and Philippe Mexes is a big salary that Galliani needs to offload if he is to bring in new players.
