EXCLUSIVE D'Amico: 'Nothing new about Mazzarri, Giovinco won't move'
The famous Italian agent Andrea D’Amico visited today calciomercato.com’s newsroom and has been interviewed by the editor in Chief Stefano Agresti. D’Amico talked first of all about one of his clients, the former Inter Milan manager Walter Mazzarri, considered one of the possible substitutes of AS Roma boss Rudi Garcia: “There are many rumours about him” he said “the truth is that he has six more months on his contract with Inter, and there is nothing new going on”
“He must wait for the right offer” he added “as he is a high-profile coach”. D’Amico also talked about another one of his clients, Toronto FC forward Sebastian Giovinco: “football has henceforth a global dimension, so the MLS is making an important step. When we offered Sebastian to Toronto, they had no hesitations, and they were right, as he has done immediately well, while the club qualified for the play offs. Back to Europe? There are no chances that he will move in January. Now he’s on vacation, then he will start the new season with his current team. The recent transfer rumors prove that if in the past he had no suitors it was just because he didn’t get enough minutes at Juve”
