EXCLUSIVE: Bryan Cristante set for Serie A comeback

    • Lorenzo Bettoni (@lorebetto)
Back in 2014, Milan fans hit out at the club’s CEO Adriano Galliani as he invested money from the sale of the product of the Rossoneri Academy Bryan Cristante to sign Atalanta’s ace Giacomo Bonaventura.

Cristante joined Benfica on a € 6 million deal but after a promising debut, he failed to play on a regular basis at the Estadio Da Luz and could be set for a Serie A comeback in January.

The 20-year-old midfielder could only rack up 13 minutes through the current season, but despite lack of playing time, the Portuguese club have recently ensured Cristante that they don’t want to lose him in the upcoming transfer window.

The player is now facing a crossroad as he has to decide if he wants to remain at the club or join another team in January in order to get more playing time. Calciomercato.com can exclusively reveal that Sassuolo, Torino and Genoa are interested in the player’s services, while Inter are not in hunt for the former Milan hopeful.
